I Love To Chill

I wrote lyrics to my instrumental J Azz from June 17th 2018:

I love to chill
***************

I like my coffee
with piano
and a bass
playing jazz

I like my chords
all seventh
like its going
out of style

I like mid century modern
ranch styles homes
I like my cars with wings
I like songs that swing

I like the open highway
to take me where
the sun it sets
without regrets

I love to chill all the day
like I was in Vegas
when it was all about jazz
I love to chill all the day
I love to chill all the night

play the old blue eyes
or ella with louis
give me some of those beats
those sweet jazz beats

Or Mulatu Astatke
to go with this
Americano high
sweet barista of mine

I think I am in love
I think I found
the right speed

its not too fast
its not too slow
its the speed from half
decade ago

I love to chill
(repeat)
all day
I love to chill
(repeat)
all night

I wish I was in New York
when Frankie boy was young
I wish I was in Miami
for the second go around

of nineteen fifty something
party of the day
back when the people
would child every day

with style
with grace
you do not see
here in now

but there is hope
to go
with this coffee
cup of mine

we can take it slow
we can take it easy
maybe it will catch
start a new romance

we can bring it back
make jill and jack
start humming a tune
that goes like this

I love to chill
(repeat)
all day
I love to chill
(repeat)
all night
